So...
ShareAn man who everyone figured was a weirdo kidde fiddler is now a deceased musical legend, a modern day Mozart, funny how death can change a whole planets opinion on you.
Or has it?
Media outlets around the world are breaking their balls trying to get "the big" jacko story.
In death as in life there are many many myths about MJ, starting with how he died, why he died, what to do with his remain (every thing from cryogenic freezing to being plastinated)
Every person who has spent more than 5 minutes in his company are selling there stories, trying to milk the Jacksons cow for one last suckle.
Michael was a talented artist, I will give him that, but he was also a very troubled individual.
Something that was not helped by his "entourage" who seemed to want to keep themselves in a lifestyle HE was accustomed to.
We will never really know the true stories about Michaels life as there will always be a minimum of 5 different versions to every thing.
Which is kinda sad really.
Talented people are often the most fucked up people you will meet, I think MJ was seriously fucked up, in his own head and by the way he was treated by the people closest to him.
So I'm gonna suggest, we try not to focus on the media circus of his life and just look at the musical legacy left behind. Even if your not a Jackson fan, there is probably one song you like, as song that makes you smile or brings back a happy memory and POSSIBLY even want to dance a little.
Now thats worth remembering.
Maybe its obvious to use this video, but i remember watching this video after 12 on channel 4, when it was 1st played. it scared the SHIT out of me... I was 5 at the time ok.
I shall endeavour to correct this once July kicks in proper.

theyre BAAAAAAACK!!!!!
ShareSpotted this news story in the papers on Friday, its from the newsdesk of the Daily Star, so it MUST be true..... right?
Actually im surprised it didn't come from the Sun news desk.
The 26-year-old actor - who takes over from current Time Lord David Tennant next year - will face the legendary extraterrestrial mutants in his first adventure to please fans who think he is too young to play the iconic role.
BBC bosses reportedly decided to revive the Doctor's most famous foes to boost show ratings as they are worried Smith will not be as popular as Tennant - widely considered one of the most successful stars of the long running sci-fi series.A network source told Britain's Daily Star newspaper: "They know fans will take a while to get used to Matt as The Doctor, so it makes sense to have him fight his most famous enemies. They always bring good ratings."
BBC chiefs have previously revealed they plan to "step back in time" when designing the Tardis for the new series of the programme.
Instead of the current brown and orange interior, the time and space machine will have blue walls and white windows, similar to the original 1960s Tardis.
The new series of 'Doctor Who' - which stars Smith at the 11th Time Lord - is due to start next spring.

Like the idea of revamping the interior of the Tardis, even tho i have got very accustomed to the "desktop theme"
Death Of A Time Lord
ShareSuper fan Sebastian Neale, 26, of Risca, South Wales, tragically passed away last week from head injuries. His caring friends and family pulled together one hell of a salute to the biggest fan of Britain's Time Lord, The Doctor.
According to the Daily Mail, his coffin was made to resemble the blue police box Tardis complete with flashing light.
The funeral music was swapped out in favor of the Dr. Who's theme song and mourners were greeted with the Doctor's words, "I'm a time lord ... I'm not a human being. I walk in eternity." Instead of Bible verses, the funeral consisted of quotes from classic Who scripts, including William Hartnell's famous speech from "The Dalek Invasion Of Earth": "One day, I will come back. Yes, I shall come back. Until then there must be no regrets, no tears, no anxieties. Just go forward in all your beliefs, and prove to me that I am not mistaken in mine."
Now thats a send off, i love the use of William Hartnells words in the ceremony.

cuteness
SharePlanet Express to deliver again?
ShareRumours have it that Comedy Central has decided to expand its lineup beyond regular showings of Ghostbusters 2 and National Lampoon movies, and has ordered 13 new episodes of the nerd-favorite animated comedy Futurama.
I have to say, i have grown to REALLY love Futurama over the last few years and like it or not, its better than the current Simpsons... mind you so are stale farts in a lift.

Out of the loop for a week
ShareAt 1pm on 29th May, 2009, it was announced that 21-year old Karen Gillan would be the Doctor's new companion. Karen will star opposite the Eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith, when the next series of Doctor Who begins in 2010.
Looks as if we are going to have a VERY young Doctor Who team next spring.
Full story on the BBC Doctor Who here
Sao Til???
ShareHis reaction on meeting David Tennant is brilliant lol

ShareAnyways, it finished up last week and i figured, now is the time.
Its a Dr Who comic called The 10 Doctors, have to say very well written an i REALLY enjoyed it, plenty of references for old fans an accessable enough for new fans.
Not sure if it ever could be turned in to a workable tv plot, but i think it twould be shiney as hell :D
Comic starts here
Let me know what you think of it.
the weird tat that i like
ShareBut yes, something cheesey , 80's or Sci Fi based (which strangely seems to reflect my childhood TV viewage) will make me grin like an idiot.
Yes... easily amused.....
This amused me this week:
