New Super 8 Trailer

This is one of the movies I am looking forward to most this summer.
I thought this might originally be a big ol monster movie like Cloverfield was when I saw the 1st trailer.
Then came the 2nd Trailer and it looked like a Speilberg movie from the early 80s

Now with this 3rd trailer I realise it is gonna be like a Speilbergian 80's movie (This is a good thing because I AM a child of the 80's) along with J.J. Abrams style of monsters an scares.




I think this could be the sleeper hit of the summer

SMALLVILLE Series Finale Teaser

Smallville season finale is in 3 weeks time, it will be a 2 hour special.
I have been loving Season 10 so far, its been some of the best comic book based TV I have seen out side of animated TV shows

3 more episodes to wrap up a 10 year storyline and have Clark Kent finally become Superman.


Oh and Lex is back :D
Michael Rosenbaum really has been fantastic in his portrayal of Lex Luthor over the years. Definitely the best actor to play the role.

Doctor Who: The Impossible Astronaut Trailer

Its the final countdown before we get to series six of Doctor Who and I am literally bouncing up and down with excitement and anticipation.

BBC have released a trailer for the 1st episode, It really doesn't tell us much more than all the previous trailers combined.

Now I must prepare... Only 5 days, 3 hours an 33 minutes left till the show starts

Green Lantern Trailer/Tv Spots

I am still not impressed with this film, I just know its gonna suck big time.
Trailers show it will possibly be a visual treat, but I just feel there is too much going on for this film to flow.



In the last 2 years I've read ALOT of Green Lantern Comics, with stories like Sinestro Corps War, Secret Origin, Blackest Night , Brightest Day and the current War Of The Green Lanterns it has had some of the best on going storylines in the DC Universe. I really don't want to see all that erased by a film that tries to shoe horn too much mythology into 90 minutes
Oh and I dont think Ryan Reynolds is gonna be a good Hal Jordan

Star Trek: The Next Generation: A XXX Parody Trailer

The Star Trek Porn Spoof I mentioned two months ago now has a trailer. Don't worry its pretty SFW .



The trailer has allusions to the sex scenes that will happen of course, but basically this looks like a high end fan made movie, even the storyline (yes I know porno's with storylines???) is based on actual ST:TNG episodes. Skin of Evil, Yesterday's Enterprise, The Mind's Eye and even The Naked Now *Shudders*

The only thing I have to fault this in is.. what the hell is up with Tasha Yar's Wig? Surely the budget could have stretched for a wig that DOESNT look like it was bought in a magic shop for 10e?

I am gonna be honest here... I will watch this. Obviously not for the sex scenes (maybe a Picard scene but thats all) I've seen fanfic trek before and they were mostly shit. This has the possibility to be a decent fanflick... just with some sex involved.

This is kind of a "basic" introduction to who is the Doctor. It only introduces you to Matt Smiths Doctor, but its basically just get people on board for the new series.

I was expecting a Cloverfield style film, but every trailer seems to suggest this is gonna be Speilbergian 80's kids movie with a hint of Abramian monster spook.

Starz have released the first promotional teaser trailer for Torchwood: Miracle Day.
The programme will return for its fourth series on Starz in the USA and BBC One in the UK in July.

Not much in the way of "details" but... gives me something else to get excited about.

New BBC America Doctor Who Series 6 Trailer

BBC America has just treated its viewers to its own trailer for "Season 6".


It is vastly different to the Series 6 trailer that aired in the UK earlier this week.
It has new scenes and a different tone to it.Few scenes make me go "ooohhhhh shiney" but none have the "HOLY SHIT THATS AWESOME" scenes that the UK version had.
I think its the voiceover... Its out of place.
