I'm not jumping on the Lady Gaga bandwagon at all, but I love the video for Bad Romance to borrow a phrase from a friend of mine "she is a fucking lunatic"

Still dont get her music, I like the singles she releases, but I've tried to listen to her album/s an I keep skipping to the singles.

She is a crazy bitch, gotta respect a crazy bitch

and now for something completely different

Sometimes people think they have a "handle" on my musical tastes.

I like to dispel that myth every so often...

This is one of my all time FAVOURITE songs

Taken from Jason's All Over Creation Album which i seen him tour with in Limerick TWICE, both gigs blew my mind, as the 2nd time he played here, Jason got off the stage, unplugged his guitar an turned off his mic for the entire show and played to the 20 people in attendance like that as long as we sat round him in a semi circle.

One of the most amazing gigs I've ever attended, Also had the honour of talking to him after the show, such a down to earth man.

So anyways....

Was this expected :D

Trailer for the new K9 TV show featuring the Doctors canine chum.... kinda.

It is K9, but there are NO connections to the whoniverse apart from K9's 1st appearance in which he does in fact look like the K9 we know then... well he basically regenerates, which unsurprisingly is the title of the pilot Regeneration

I watched the 1st episode of K9 this afternoon, If you liked The Sarah Jane Adventures, you'll probably like this, its a kids show plain an simple.

In case you are wondering, apparently this is K9 Mk I, last seen in the possession of Leela at the end of The Invasion of Time.

Torchwood Season 4?

Share
According to an interview given to TV guide magazine by Russell T Davies, Torchwood season 4 could be taking shape by next January.

Russell says:

The recession has hit British television, but fingers crossed, it will be a go. We expect things to start to move in January. We’ve got great ideas for the show. I think there’s a further lease on life for many years to come, but certainly for a [fourth season],” Davies says. John Barrowman is finishing his run in “La Cage Aux Folles” in London, so there’s plenty of time to trade his feather boa for Captain Jack’s trench coat.

As gathered from another interview it seems that he knows exactly where everything will pick up, too. He admits that he already knows where Gwen, Rhys, their baby and Jack are, and what shape Torchwood itself would actually take.

I'm looking forward to this, as CoE really did seem as the end of Torchwood, nice to see how RTD pulls this outta the fire

Wednesday evening I get a phone call from local Limerick scamp Sharon Arseburn asking me if i would film her new video for her. Filming with Sharon is ALWAYS a riot, so I quickly agreed, grabbed my camera gear an headed off.

After finishing off the final edits today, this is the end result.

star-trek-light.jpg

This Star Ship chandelier was designed by ELK Lighting to resemble the Starship Enterprise but they only call it the Star Ship because they don't want to actually pay royalties.

Plus the nacelles are upside down

Apart from that its pretty kick ass.

If you want one, it can be found here for $189

New trailer released for the Clash Of The Titans remake, kinda looks like 300 meets Alexander.

Yes, that would make this film pretty gay in both uses of the word.

Adjusted for inflation

What is the Six Millon Dollar Man worth today?

Back in 1974, astronaut Steve Austin, gravely injured in a crash, was given a new arm, two new legs and one new eye in the iconic show The Six Million Dollar Man. But what would such cyborg reconstruction cost today?
Last May, CNN Money estimated that due to inflation, that $6 million surgery would cost slightly over $26 million. But obviously the surgery in the original TV show wasn't quite medically accurate, and creating those bionic parts from scratch would actually cost somewhere between $50 and 100 million today—although after one successful prototype is completed, it could cost far less.

If you've been reading this blog recently you know I've been very ...harsh if you like on the new Doctor Who with Matt Smith, im not liking the new Doctor much, don't like his clothes, not a fan of the new look tardis and i fucking HATE the CBeebies inspired new logo.

However, this clip shows what appears to be a new console room in the tardis.

It kinda looks like across between the old layout and the layout from the movie combined.

So here it is, so far the the only thing im liking about the new who is, the tardis console room

Putting the DOH! In Play-doh

Share
Apparently these adverts for Play-doh appeared in a magazine in Singapore.
They were only printed the once, Then HASBRO found out about them and well the Play-doh hit the fan. I'm guessing someone got fired for authorising these.

I like em however.

On This Day In History

flux-capacitor.jpg

In 1955, Doctor Emmet Lathrop Brown was standing on a toilet hanging a wall clock when he slipped and beat his head on the bathroom sink. Unconscious, Doc had a vision. And that vision was that of a flux capacitor -- the device that makes time travel possible. The rest, my friends, is history. Or should I say, future?

When he isn't scaring paranormal investigators or dressing up as Sweeny Todd, Ger ODonnell keeps busy by being the creative genius that is Gerodeo Music Video Productions.

I've posted Ger's work here before with the fantastic A Celebration By Mar video.

Well last week he finished work with another Irish artist called Hitman Lord, who has been hailed by Phantom F.M as "One to watch in 2009".

Apart from the fantastic music video, my other reason for posting this video here is because my good friend Ciara Peters makes an appearance as a very seductive temptress in the video.

How fucking fab does she look... She'll put the spring in Springfield, thats for sure... hahaha

Don't know bout you... but that's the sorta hotel i would stay in.
